The Niagara College Greenhouse Nursery is an educational greenhouse serviced by students of Niagara College’s horticultural programs. We are open to the public year round.
The Greenhouse is located at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus of Niagara College in picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake. Students cultivate plants of many varieties year round that are sold to the public and used to beautify the 68 acre Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. All plants are grown by students and all plant sale revenues are used to support the educational programs at Niagara College.

Coleus, also known as Solenostemon, is an herbaceous perennial native to the tropical areas of Africa, Asia, Australia, the East Indies and the Philippines. Although it is a perennial, most gardeners in the US and Canada treat it as an annual based on the zone changes it faces in North America.
